Spirit Softworks Principal Pabini Gabriel-Petit is the Founder, Publisher, and Editor in Chief of UXmatters, a Web magazine created by and for user experience (UX) professionals. UXmatters provides a venue where people working in user experience can come together to discuss important issues, share information, and work collaboratively to create a resource that will provide value to the UX community. Pabini Gabriel-Petit organized and moderated an IA Summit Redux, which took place on Saturday, May 19th, 2007, at Yahoo!, in Sunnyvale, California. Eight speakers reprised their presentations from the 2007 IA Summit, including Rashmi Sinha, who gave the closing plenary address at the Summit.
On June 16th, 2006, Pabini Gabriel-Petit gave the keynote address at Interaction Frontiers (Le Frontiere dell’Interazione) 2006, which took place at the Università Bicocca, in Milano, Italy.
Pabini spoke about the role of user experience design in product development. Her presentation was titled “Getting from Concept to Realization: The Role of UX in Product Development” (PDF). View Presentation
