2004 Consulting Rate Survey for User Experience Design and Usability Professionals

In the Spring of 2004, Spirit Softworks and Peak Usability conducted an online survey of hourly rates and average gross annual incomes for user experience design and usability consultants. World wide, 178 consultants responded to the survey. This report provides the results of that survey, breaking down hourly rates and average gross annual incomes by type of consultant, geographical region, education, years of experience, and gender.
